Recognized as one of the most prominent postmodernist sculptors in the Arab world, Henein uses simple lines and abstract forms to create sculptures and modernist figures in a poetic manner. Despite living in Europe for over 20 years before returning to Egypt in 1996, Henein continues to use techniques that draw from his heritage and cultural background. This year would mark the tenth edition of this annual exhibition, curated this year by Sheikha Noora Al Mualla.
